Working primarily in oil since 1997, Donna began as a self-taught
artist. She later studied with Billie Bourgeois, as well as taking workshops from Ann Warner, LA; Alice Williams, GA;
Beverly Dudley, LA; Ken Hosmer, NE; Ann Crawford, LA; Elmore Morgan, Jr., LA; Alan Flatman, LA; Leonard Wren, WA; C. W. Mundy,
IN; David Gallup, CA; Pam Ingalls, WA; Kim English, CO; Ken Hosmer, MO; Marc Chatov, GA; Roberta Remy, AZ Gay Falkenberry;
Michael Untiedt, WY; Richard McKinley, OR. Donna has participated in various art shows in the area, as well
as having her work accepted into numerous juried shows. She was chosen as one the EMERGING ARTISTS by the Art Galleries
and Artist of the South Magazine, for the fall of 2013, Volume 10, Issue 2. Chosen by Southwest Art Magazine as one
of the southeastern artists in special section of December, 2014 issue. Her work is currently being shown at various

I hope the viewer finds a measure of the joy I feel while creating
a painting. Every work is a challenge and a learning experience. When I am frustrated with a painting, all I have
to do is find the fellowship of other artist or read the thoughts of the masters to understand that I am not alone, that every
artist follows the same path. Different grades and curves and side paths, but we all share the common desire to create
and communicate through our paintings.

March is marching on - landscape show at Birdman Coffee & Books, Commerce St., St. Francisville all month - I will be
there on Friday, March 19 and Sat., March 20 from 2-5. Just finished a wonderful workshop in Baton Rouge, Pam Ingalls
of Vashon Island, WA was the instructor. New work will be added soon. I will be at The Gallery at Main Street
Market, Baton Rouge Sat. am, March 20th. Then Art Show at Centenary Inn in Jackson, LA in conjunction with the Jackson
Assembly's Annual Antique Show March 26 - 28. Whew! Happy Easter!
