I hope the viewer finds a measure of the joy I feel while creating a painting.  Every work is a challenge and a learning experience.  When I am frustrated with a painting, all I have to do is find the fellowship of other artist or read the thoughts of the masters to understand that I am not alone, that every artist follows the same path.  Different grades and curves and side paths, but we all share the common desire to create and communicate through our paintings.
