Time flies
Just finished teaching my first official class - great students, great experience
- this was through OLLI in St. Francisville, LA. The fall is drifting by faster than falling leaves. A group of
the Charter Street Studio artists (including me) are having a show at Market Hall, Royal Street, St. Francisville, LA, this
weekend, October 14th through the 16th. White Light Night is coming up in Baton Rouge, November 18th. Currently
I have a piece at the AWA show at Achives Building, Essen Lane, Baton Rouge. Happy painting to all.

I hope the viewer finds a measure of the joy I feel while creating
a painting. Every work is a challenge and a learning experience. When I am frustrated with a painting, all I have
to do is find the fellowship of other artist or read the thoughts of the masters to understand that I am not alone, that every
artist follows the same path. Different grades and curves and side paths, but we all share the common desire to create
and communicate through our paintings.
